Why Loki invaded Earth - The Avengers

I have to be honest – I still haven’t seen the “Avengers” (*drowns in tears*). Yeah, yeah…I know, if I haven’t watched it than why am I writing here?! Well, I promise I will see it soon and write something about it, but I still wanna see Iron Man, and time isn’t easy to come by these days.
Anyway, after I saw “Thor” I got obsessed with the story and especially with the character Loki played by Tom HIddleston (don’t judge, you have to admit that he’s great).

So I was watching some YouTube videos and Tom decided to elucidate everyone on why Loki would like to invade earth. He simply wanted “some bitches to kneel…”. I know what you’re thinking this is not a valid reason, and to that I say- Why not?! I mean if I was a god and my all powerful brother had just won the throne I wanted, I would pick some random planet to conquer. I mean, it’s better than nothing and who doesn’t like to be worshiped by 7 billion harmeless humans?!

I think that’s a pretty good point.
If you’re looking for a more serious and “actually related to the film” answer go check this out:
I don’t know who wrote this but whoever that was, he has my congrats.

"Thor" -why is Loki the bad guy? (I don't get it XD)

If you haven’t seen the movie yet, then I recommend that you go and see it before you read this ;) .
I must say that I loved the film. It’s not one of those fantastic movies that you will never forget (just my opinion guys...don’t be mad), it’s just the kind of movie that most teens like to see. It has lots of action, romance and to be honest it appeals to the female audience by having the main charecter and his evil brothers played by two of the most gorgeous actors of all time (and that’s basically the main reason why I saw the film. Well, that and the fact that I am planing on watching the Avengers...damn, I still haven’t seen Iron Man XD, there goes my study time).
Now, let’s talk about the actual plot, shall we?
This is the main reason why I decided to write this: Was I the only one cheering for Loki?
I mean, the only thing Loki truly wanted was to gain the approvel of his father and become king of Asgard. And sure...there were probably better ways to get that. Breaking into the kingdom’s vault with some ice Giants may have not been very smart, but in the end all he wanted was to show Odin that he deserved the throne. He had just found he was adopted and that he could never have the throne ( he was the son of the enemy for christ sake, how could Odin ever allow him to be King?!).
Loki’s story is sad. In the end he saw that his father would never aprove what he had done so he just decided to let go. It was the most depressing thing in the movie.
By the way I hate Odin...that guy could obviously see that Thor wasn’t prepared to be king The god of thunder was all about fighting and fighting and Loki was more the thinking type, a master mind suited to be king. Loki truly only wanted the best for everyone (exept his own kind...but who cares about the ice Giants anyway?! Oh...that’s right Thor does....for some reason. In the begining of the movie Thor wanted to destroy the evil frosty enemies and in the end he destroyed the only way to travel in the universe because of them?! Jezz...I just don’t get him. How can two days in earth do that to you? Or maybe it was the influence of love...I don’t know. The ice Giants deserved to die...just look at them, they are evil and live in a ice cube. No one likes them and they spend most of their time frozen. I think that what Loki was doing was the best choice...but I don’t make the story.
In my opinion, and to finally end this article, Loki should have become king and Thor should have stayed back on earth. It would have been a win/win situation (exept for the ice Giants, but as I said-nobody cares)
Before I go I just wanted to say that this movie has made me complety obcessed with Tom Hiddleston ‘s work (I have to say that this guy is a great actor and thank his parents for bringing him into the world XD. I know perfect does not exist, but this guy is conected to some world saving institutions and honestly, he looks like a fricking god – perfect to play the role of a god :P). I now spend most of my time watching every thing that he made...so thank you internet for making me waste all of my precious time with research that will help in...well I can’t find any use for this information right now. Maybe some day it will come in handy.
If you find any errors in my writing. I’m sorry for them I’m Portuguese and my english is not that good :D.

"The Lodger" (2009) - This is a great movie!!!

I was kinda out of ideas for a new post...and also worried I would not be able to write in here again, but I just watched an AWESOME movie and decided to recomend it in here :D.

It's not a recent film, it's from 2009 - "The lodger", inspired in the 1927 movie with the same name by Hitchcock. I just finished watching it and basically the story involves a serial killer that copies the murders of Jack the Riper. All the story is really great, and you only guess who the real killer is in the last 30 seconds...however what I loved the most about the entire story was the relation created between the lodger and the woman who is renting the place. All the tension created between both characters and Simon Baker performance really make you sink into the story.

I need to tell you...honestly, that in the end movie ( talking about innocent people beeing murdered ans stuff) I was actually cheering for the killer.. :/ (can you imagine how messed up this is?!)

I really recomend that you watch this, and if you also have some time...maybe you could also check the original version.

The Bowl Haircut - Ian Hecox

This is my first post so...I decided to start with a topic that has been bothering me quite a bit - THE BOWL HAIRCUT.

I never really understood why people still have their hairs like that...I mean it kinda looks good on some people but in general ....it's just not that great (no ofense or anything).

Most of you have heard about these silly youtubers - smosh. Yeah....you probably have, so I would just like to say that that guy, Ian....his hair is not all bad. From the videos I've seen the haircut matches his personality just perfectly.

To support this and also justify why in hell I would find a reason to write about this I present to you the definition of Bowl Cut (of course its from Wiki...I'm lazy...OK???):

"A bowl cut, also known as a pot haircut, a helmet haircut or a mushroom cut, is a haircut where the hair is cut short on the sides and back and looking as though someone put a bowl on the head and cut off all the visible hair. A bowl cut is also known for being a cheap and easy haircut often sported by children."

First of all, WTF? Mushroom cut...it does'nt even look like a mushroom...but why should you doubt wikipedia, it's like the most accurate source in the world... :P. Also the fact that this is a typicall hair style for kids makes this haircut perfect for Ian Hecox (don't you think?...)

Ohh...I almost forgot...I was watching some of the oldest videos and then I noticed a strange evolution...
It goes from an actual huge bowl (omg...wtf is that!? is that thing alive?!) to something that resembles a normal haircut....but not quite (it still has that weird looking shape...).

The haircut suits Ian...in my opinion (you are free to have yours), and I just don't get it when people say that he should change his haircut...it just wouldnt be the same Ian.

Anyway, that's basically all I can conclude on the bowl subject ...(I don't even know why I'm still writting...) and I also have other things to do like....hummm I dunno....slepping? :P

I hope you find this useful (cause this is a rather important subject....)
D.P.

p.s. sorry for the english errors...in case you haven't noticed I'm Portuguese (you know that tiny piece of land next to spain...that's an actual country with people and stuff...)
